Captcha Club Review: Scam or Legit? (2021)

Find out if Captcha Club is worth it or not Below!

Captcha Club Review

Today in this review, we will explore Captcha Club to see what it’s all about. Is it another illegitimate website trying to make money unethically? Or is it finally a real system that does what it claims? Keep reading to find out! Hopefully, this review will help you make the right decision before signing up.

What is Captcha Club?

Captchaclub.com can be found on Godaddy LLC by creator Michelle Jowett from Texas. I found this information pretty quickly, which is a good sign as it shows its legitimacy. From here, I can see that the domain has been registered for five years, which shows they are planning to stay for quite some time. Although this is a good sign, there is still some digging to be done as these scammers can be using this to portray they are genuine. I also found that Captcha Club is SSL certified. At first, I thought that this was a sure sign that they are legit, but I also found that nowadays, it’s free to get a certification. So, this doesn’t mean anything.

How Does Captcha Club Work?

Captcha Club claims to pay standard members $0.03 to 3 cents per captcha. This sounds too good to be accurate as top sites like Protypers only pay $0.001 on average. They even mention that premium members get a higher payout of $0.06 to $0.10, which is a lot once it adds up. The funny thing is that there is no mention of more details for the premium members like how much it costs to sign up etc. I also thought they might be referring to a referral program, but there was also no mention of any such programs on Captcha Club.

Moreover, Captcha Club limits 250 codes per user. It doesn’t make any sense to have a limit unless they have limited clients. Even the slowest typers can solve 1,000 captchas in 2 hours. It could be that they want to keep the numbers under control.

Premium Plus Membership

When I encountered the Premium Plus membership, I realized that the whole thing could be a trick to upsell the Premium Plus membership. This is because of the great benefits of Premium Plus. For example, you can earn up to $0.10 per captcha, which means you can get $100 if you solve 1,000 captchas in 2 hours! $100 in 2 hours just by solving captchas doesn’t sound reasonable at all. They could be using this to draw people in with the hope of earning big bucks.

Issues with Captcha Club

According to some complaints from Captcha Club members, it seems the site always experiences glitches that hinder members from completing captchas. Sometimes the API doesn’t respond, and sometimes it’s just a hassle to get one captcha done. Are they doing this on purpose? It’s possible, but it could also mean that they are just not taking care of their website. Both of these can cause problems in the long run. If you keep experiencing difficulties doing the actual task, you won’t be earning much in the end!

Next, we have payment issues. It says that Captcha Club members can withdraw payments via Paypal, Payza, or Payoneer. The minimum payout is set at a whopping $100, which seems like they don’t want people to get paid because this will take months! Usually even a $5 payout minimum is high for these freelance websites. It doesn’t end there! One user also claims that there was a $40 withdrawal fee. $40! So, you wait a month only to get paid $60? This doesn’t sound right.

Other Red Flags

The Captcha Club homepage is full of Payment Proofs, which is another sign of overselling. You rarely see this on genuine websites, as most of them are product testimonials and not proof of how much they get paid! This information is also usually sensitive. Moreover, one of their payment partners, Payza has been recently closed for dealing with illegal bitcoin transactions. This is important to note!

While researching Captcha Club, I had an idea to visit their FAQ section. To my horror, the FAQ information were all just the original website’s templates or testing data! For future references, this could be a great way to identify a scam site. You’d think the creators would hide this fact to show legitimacy.

Captcha Club App

Captcha Club claims that there is an app for members to download, but this is entirely false! There is no app. Whatever they tell you to download, please don’t do it! It could be software designed to hack your device and steal all your data. Once you have the app downloaded on your device, you should immediately check your phone for any malware or virus.

Real User Reviews

I knew I couldn’t trust the fake testimonials on their webpage, but the user reviews on their Facebook page says it all. You can see tons of comments of users complaining about not getting their payments and none of them ever get replies! It could be that their admin is too busy posting fake payment proofs on their site. All the complaints are the same as ‘where are my payments.’ There was also a picture of their definitive payment proof with angered users flooding the comments section asking for their payments.

Is Captcha Club a scam?

Yes, Captcha Club is scam and a clever one at that. The creators behind Captcha Club were probably also behind several other scam sites that have been shut down. They probably created Captcha Club to look like a legitimate site after learning from their past mistakes. This is why it was so hard to identify from the outside, until you do some digging. Right off the bat their payout scheme is way too good to be true. This, and the fact that it’s so complicated to get a payout, shows that they don’t even intend to pay anyone for anything. Let’s also not forget the published logos and the supposed brands they work with. That was a big sign of oversell in my opinion.

Moreover, you can tell the testimonials on their webpage is fake as it simply doesn’t add up with the real comments on their Facebook page. What’s worse is that the comments never get a reply! Whatever’s posted on their Facebook page also mimics their website. Oh, and the scrap FAQ section! I’m surprised they forgot to edit this part as this was directly a red flag.

Verdict

On the outside, Captcha Club looks legitimate. But once you do some digging, you realize its just another scam trying to steal people’s money and sensitive data. Their whole website is a mystery and further research only shows a lot of negative comments for the site. As a seasoned online entrepreneur, I can tell you that there is no such thing as making fast money without any hard work. From now on, you should stay away from these get-rich-quick schemes as they won’t get you anywhere. They might even steal your money and your data and you’ll be left with more problems than before. Whenever something sounds too good to be true, you should do more digging as it usually is too good to be true. Doing some extra research wouldn’t cost you a single cent too!

Captcha Club Alternative

Now, I have personally tried many businesses online and honestly, a lot of the businesses just suck for a complete beginner. This is because either they are blatant scams or they require a ton of experience and money.

Guys I have literally reviewed over 150+ courses on my blog which claim to make you millions of dollars overnight or just contain poor information for a large fee.

Believe it or not, there are actually good programs out there which have value-packed information, are super affordable and transparent.

If you want an honest long term sustainable online business which can make you earn a full-time income at home without any bosses you can check out Savage Affiliates Program. (This does require work on your part, it’s not a get rich quick scheme. You can read my review on it here!)
