Peter Pru is one of the many eCommerce gurus that populate the internet today. He has the standard YouTube channel with tips and seeming evidence of his success.

He’s launched the eCommerce Empire Academy. It’s supposed to show you the way to dropshipping success.

But, is it the right course or should you spend your money on something else? That’s what you’ll find out.

eCommerce Empire Academy Pros & Cons

This course is better for people who don’t mind working extra for their stores. It’s also for people who don’t mind working extra for the same results as those putting less effort.

Luckily, you do not need to have all the experience in the world to sign up for this course. Other students can help, for there is a private group for interacting.

Nevertheless, the first thing that comes to mind when reading that is “why?” And that’s a good question, and one I haven’t been able to answer.

Sure, using funnels for sales is an excellent idea, and dropshipping is selling at its core. However, the main idea behind dropshipping is to save money. With this course, all the money you’d save is an investment that you now need to pay for ClickFunnels and social media adds.

I do have to say that Peter knows what he’s doing, and he’s been a success when speaking of sales funnels and email marketing. The information here is correct, and anyone who enters will leave knowing much more about the subject.

That said, this course is much better for beginners; they can benefit the most from the information. As for the more experienced, you probably know most (if not all) of what he covers.

Who is Peter Pru, The Founder of eCommerce Empire Academy?

Peter is a regular poster on YouTube; he claims to have successfully built a $ 2,300,000 dropshipping business. In addition to that, he also claims to be an expert in electronic commerce. His focus is the construction of sales funnels on Clickfunnels.

On his website, he tells us about the process of building many stores with 6-figure profits. He decided to teach others how to start their online e-commerce businesses through their training course. That’s the start of eCommerce Empire Builders, better known as eCommerce Empire Academy.

Peter Pru ​​claims to have appeared in publications such as Forbes, BuzzFeed, and Entrepreneur. However, when I tried to find publications referring to him on these platforms, there was no one to confirm his appearance.

What is Included in eCommerce Empire Academy?

eCommerce has 7 modules that cover the topics you need to know. For such an innovative dropshipping approach, it sure looks like little.

Module 1

Here, Peter focuses on the mindset, showing videos that serve as motivation to continue using the course. Attitude is a critical factor for any business. For this reason, this may be useful.

In the end, it’s a reasonably short introduction, and you’ve probably seen some of these videos online, but it’s still an enjoyable module.

Module 2

The second module focuses on choosing your niche and which products to sell. It’s one of the essential parts of dropshipping, but Peter doesn’t delve too much into it.

You learn how to spot a profitable niche and how to source products along with creating their offers.

It revolves around finding trending products, coming up with attractive offers and pricing, and “hacks” for increasing sales.

It’s an OK module, but it’s still something you can find for free on YouTube or anywhere else.

Module 3

Once you identified what you’re going to sell, you need to set up your funnels. The third module explains how to do that.

This section introduces you to ClickFunnels and teaches you how to use it. Again, this isn’t the traditional method for building dropshipping stores, but it’s what Peter uses.

You also get optimized templates for your sales funnels, but most students already used them. You’re better off using them as inspiration for building your own.

It is a valuable module, but you’re still making your job harder by using ClickFunnels.

Module 4

The following is a complete module on email marketing, but to complete it correctly, you will need an additional platform or use the function integrated with Clickfunnels.

Here, Peter will show you how to collect emails and configure them by email marketing sequence. That way, potential customers take it as a route, and it drives them back to your store to complete the payment successfully.

It is arguably one of the more complete sections in the course.

Module 5

This module, unfortunately, had certain flaws when giving better specifications. Peters’s course was quite short, so it only covered the influencers on Instagram and YouTube.

This section explains the entire process of using IG Influencers for your marketing campaign, how to find people and negotiate rates.

Module 6

Unfortunately, this module also includes very little information.

It tries to teach you how to produce copy for Facebook Ads and scaling them. It also explains how to know when to scale or cut them.

However, you can’t turn someone into an expert on Facebook ads through some videos since you need more detailed information and better explanations.

Module 7

This module includes scaling techniques used by Peter to move from 6 figures to 7 figures.

You’ll learn about outsourcing and hiring the right personnel. It then goes on to explain how to build your brand and acquiring several income streams.

You finally receive a list of suppliers from Peter.

Bonuses

The bonuses include the private Facebook group for support and a weekly webinar Q&A by Peter; he runs it with the students.

The other two are a library of funnel templates and a few case studies; they give you a picture of how your business should look in the end.

Personal Experience With eCommerce Empire Academy

I think some topics were not addressed deeply enough (or at all). It’s easy to spot how the course is missing lessons on SEO, chatbots, and many other issues critical for the success of any online business.

When I looked at the price of Peters’ course, I thought that these crucial topics would have been included. Some of the best courses I’ve seen are around the same price, and they cover these topics.

I found it rather disappointing. Peter is someone who knows what he’s doing, and it’s easy to see that in the way he speaks. He obviously mastered this approach, and the information he does share is spot-on.

How much he left out is really strange, and there was a lot more potential here.

Ecommerce Empire Academy Final Verdict

If you have the spare capital, this course is an excellent look into an intriguing method for dropshipping.

However, if you focus on efficiency, this isn’t the best choice for you.

First, you’re paying a lot for very little information compared to similar classes. If the course were cheaper or had twice the content, I would recommend it to those with more investment capabilities.

But then comes the second issue: the method.

Once you shell out almost $1,000 for the course, you then need to spend at least the same amount between getting ClickFunnels and marketing your business. It requires too many expenses, and most of them are unnecessary in the end; you can achieve the same results by spending less time and money.

Overall, this course is OK, but the costs involved turn it into a curious idea and nothing else.
