Some of the keywords are going to be relevant, such as coffee shops near me and coffee shops, while it understandable that others are going to be completely irrelevant. Like starting a coffee shop and start a coffee shop, which would be great if you were planning on teaching people how to start one, but because you are trying to generate more traffic for your coffee shop, they are not really going to pan out.
2. On-Site Optimization
Also, if your business happens to be local, well, you want to make sure that you’re registering for a Google Maps location, which is going to give you even more opportunities to rank on that first page. From there, it’s kind of techie stuff like robots.txt file, XML Sitemap, and SSL certificate if you want to make sure your site is secure.
Once that’s done, it’s a combination of improving and fixing any broken links, improving page load speed, so it loads faster when someone visits you and a few more other advanced strategies to make sure your website’s running in tip-top shape. Now, in order to harness the true potential of this platform, all you have to do is create a Facebook account, but this account should be associated with a business name. That is, you need to create a business page and fill in all the details, including your website address.
Once that’s done, you can now manually post, or if you use WordPress, you can use many of its social sharing plugins to automate Facebook posting. Each of your Facebook posts will include a title, link to the original post, a better description (mainly excerpts), and finally, the most important expect of driving engagement – attractive featured image.
Once that’s done, you will have the option to boost that post in front of your targeted audience. To do so, all you have to do is click on the little boost button, which essentially is a simplified version of Facebook ads, which unfortunately is quite comprehensive, complicated and thus has a learning curve which most marketers will find to technical or monotonous.
Facebook for every boosted post requires you to select all populate three important sections. Facebook’s first requirement from you is audience selection. Not only can you make your boosted Facebook post visible to the specific geographic audience, but you can further drill down to a specific interest, age group, and even engagement level. But you can obviously post links once you have established yourself as someone who truly delivers quality information and is contributing to the community. It does make sense to eventually diversify that traffic, especially if it’s on Facebook, Instagram, because they’re going through a massive call right now and closing all kinds of different ad accounts, denying different as disabling different ones for all kinds of different perceived infractions.
But enough, fear-mongering. Let’s get into the good stuff, starting with one of the biggest reasons that YouTube ads are such a powerhouse, and that is that they are built on the power of Google.
