How to Make 2000 Fast in 2 Weeks or Less

Do you think it’s possible to make $2,000 in two weeks or less? Yes! As long as you know where to look, the opportunity is always around the corner. All you have to do is keep an open mind and be willing to put in some hard work and dedication. With the boom of the internet, there are many opportunities to make money. Stuck for ideas? Here are some ways that you can make $2,000 in less than two weeks!

1. Eliminate unwanted expenses

Before thinking about making more money, why not have a look at your current financial situations first? Is there anything unnecessary that is draining your financials? You should start by cutting out unnecessary expenses, and you’ll realize that you have more money to spend! It’s better late than never, and I’d advise you to do this every once in a while. You never know, you might’ve been paying for free trial sessions that have already been expired! Or premium accounts that you don’t even need. You can also revisit your subscription plans such as your phone plan or Netflix subscriptions. You might not need to get the more expensive subscriptions and you can downgrade to something cheaper as long as it suits you. It’s also very satisfying to see how much you can save up once you’ve eliminated these expenses. It’s like your making more money, which is silly considering that it’s your money in the first place. It’s like finding that $10 you’ve forgotten about in one of your pockets.

2. Start a money-making blog

Starting a blog from scratch sounds like a lot of hard work. But, if you already have an idea or a niche that you want to talk about, it can be gratifying! There are blogs about just anything these days and in all sorts of niches. You also don’t need any upfront costs to start a blog. Only find a free host, create your blog, and start posting valuable and regular content to get the traffic rolling. The best thing about running your very own blog is being your own boss. This means that you can work as much as you like and as little as you like. Another great thing about monetizing your blog? Passive income! Once you have money-making aspects in place in your blog, such as affiliate marketing links, etc., you can expect to make money even when you’re sleeping. The great thing is that you will be making money doing something you love, which is hard to find these days.

3. Get a personal loan

The fastest but not necessarily easiest way to get instant money is by taking out a personal loan. It’s not “easy money” as you will still need to ensure that you have sufficient funds to pay the monthly installments. If you don’t, then you’re back in square one. Of course, you shouldn’t simply take out personal loans for your use. Think of it as getting some money to invest in something that can make you even more money. For example, if you want to start a business and you need money to spend, then a personal loan is perfect. But make sure you work out a plan so that you can make the monthly instalments. But if you just need some quick cash to go on holiday? You should think twice as it will make you end up in serious debt. Personal loans are fast, but you need to be smart.

4. Refinance a current loan

The most annoying thing about loans is high-interest rates. Refinancing your mortgage to something with lower interest can save you thousands in interest and lower your monthly installments. If you have any investments, it’s best to revisit them look at your options for refinancing. If you miss out on this opportunity, you might be paying way more than you should be paying at the end of your loan tenure. Be smart!

5. Sell your stuff

There are many platforms for people to sell their second-hand items these days. There is an entire market for people who are looking to buy used or vintage items. From sites like Craigslist to the Facebook marketplace, you can sell to over several billion users online. The best thing is that these sites are free for you to sign up and start advertising your items. Flipping items is a thing nowadays, and if you don’t want to do the flipping, you can simply sell the items to flippers. Where can you find these items? Ask your parents or even grandparents if you can rummage through old storerooms and you might find something gold! You can also go through your stuff and find shoes, handbags, and even clothing that you can sell. It might take some time to get the ball rolling and have your items sold, but the trick is to advertise as many things as possible, and you’re sure to get a few sales. It also helps to display quality pictures and be creative with your descriptions; otherwise, the products won’t sell themselves! Especially if they’re old items. Or, if you want to try your hand in flipping things, that’s also a great way to make money fast! It’s also an excellent way for you to learn a new skill like woodworking or DIY. It could also be a fun project for you and your loved one!

6. Write an eBook or start an online course

If you’ve mastered something, or you just love advising about something you’re experienced, you should start an eBook! eBooks are inexpensive to design, and if you already know what you want to talk about, it’s even more straightforward. You might consider to outsource the graphic design part to a professional, but only if you really need to. Otherwise, try your best to save on the cost, then your profit margin will be very significant. You could create an eBook about anything you’re interested in, ranging from beauty tips to ways to make money online. If there’s a need for it, you can get it sold. Although an eBook is more of a one time thing. If you start an online course or subscription, you can get reoccurring sales it will be more sustainable. You can curate an online subscription just for anything. As long as its valuable and relevant, you can expect the subscribers to start pouring in. Once you see some success, you can even do both and release an eBook! You can also start selling personal brand products to make even more income.

7. Money making apps

You heard it right! There is an app for anything you can think of these days, and now they can even help you make money. Most of these apps range from online survey apps to cash back apps that help you to earn while you spend. They usually reward users in the form of cash or gift cards, both of which are usually quite appealing to users. Money making apps that you can try are such as Ebates, Swagbucks, or Inbox Dollars.

Nielson is giving out $50 for people who just simply download their app onto their devices. They’re giving out $50 for each device so if you have more than one device, it would be smart to get it on all your devices to make more!

8. Become a Freelancer

A freelancer is someone who doesn’t have a stable job and usually gets their income from client to client. For example, if you’re a photographer, you might’ve been a freelance photographer during your university years to pay for your university program. I know I have photographer friends who’s done that to earn some extra income. There are also a lot of freelance websites that you can find online these days. And they offer a bunch of jobs ranging from content writing, designing websites, transcription jobs, etc. Once I even helped a guy write his scholarship application! These freelance platforms connect people who need to get a particular job done, to people who are looking for job opportunities. Therefore, there are always a bunch of opportunities to find work online. Initially, it might take some time to get traction as you will need to prove yourself and gain some reviews from doing light jobs. Once you’ve got the hang of it, you might even be doing regular jobs for ongoing clients, which means you will never run out of a job. For example, during my university years, I started writing content for a bunch of random clients via freelancer websites. I’ve soon gained the trust of some of my clients and I still do some work for them till this day! It’s great and you also build new working relationships that might benefit you in the future.

All of these suggestions might sound intimidating at the start, but once you start doing them, you’ll realise that you have it in you all along! It’s important to keep an open mind, and don’t limit yourself in terms of what you can or cannot do. With so many opportunities out there, it would be a waste to not even try!
