Iyia Liu’s Course Review

Dropshipping is one of the best ways to make money this year. The only issue is how many fraudsters look to take advantage of the hype; countless courses have released claiming to teach you how to make the most money with this model, just to give you an overpriced basics course.

That’s why it’s important to read as much as you can on the topic and on course reviews, and that’s also why I’m taking my time to explain to you whether or not Iyia Liu’s product is good for you.

We’ll analyse the content and the author herself, so sit tight and let’s find out if you want this course.

Iyia Liu Pros & Cons

[pros-cons]

What is Iyia Liu’s Course?

This is an eCommerce course teaching you how to create and scale your business with a series of modules filled with videos on the topics covered. It offers 6 modules for $450.

This course received heavy marketing on social media websites, and it’s developed with the Kajabi platform. When I first saw the sales page, it seemed really confusing, and it tooke me a bit to find how to buy it.

That was a weird first sign given how she’s supposed to be a marketing master. Even more so, there’s an entire module on sales funnels.

You should pay attention to the webinar on the landing page, as you’re told what’s in the course. Mainly, it focuses on starting your business, learning digital marketing, using influencers, and handling PR for showing up in the news.

Make sure you read the entire review to make an informed decision if Iyia Liu’s Course is right for you or not!

Who is Iyia Liu’s Course for?

If you’re a fan of her success story and like her attitude in general, then this might be a good course for you. Just be aware that you can get a much better deal.

As for target audiences, this is definitely a course for beginners with zero knowledge on the whole eCommerce topic. You receive the basics to create your store and advertise it, but it doesn’t provide much depth on these topics and misses a lot.

This isn’t a bad course by any means; it just pales when compared to others on the market, and the information is too basic for anyone over beginner level.

If you like her and her products and are interested in learning more about her and follow her steps, this is a good call. But you need to know that you can spend the same money on something more complete.

Who is Iyia Liu?

Iyia has a tough past. She started managing a cake business that was promptly featured in the news, but not for what you think. She offered products that looked really low-quality and charged a pretty high price.

Once people started complaining on her social media pages, she deleted the comments.

However, things aren’t as bad. She also made money selling a waist trainer from AliExpress, and she even paid Kylie Jenner to wear it for a photo on her Instagram; she shelled out $300,000.

Other ventures also include Bambi Boutique (female clothing) and Luxe Fitness (premium supplements). Given her seeming lifestyle and what she paid for that waist trainer advertising, she’s definitely doing well.

She has a mansion worth $3,000,000 back in Auckland and a luxury G Wagon. You can see all of that on her instagram.

What is Included in Iyia Liu’s Course?

You have the following 6 modules included in the course.

Foundations

This first module is a good introduction. It provides you the framework on business structure and everything related to taxers and accounting. It’s great content on getting your business set up from the first day.

She goes on to say that coming up with a business plan requires serious brainstorming first, but that’s not entirely true from my perspective.

Then, she explains shortly how to get your supplier: searching, contacting, and paying. This is a vital part, but it’d be more appropriate to turn it into an entire module.

The rest includes creating your website on Shopify, setting up your branding, and creating your social media profiles and email. Address.

The module covers everything, but not completely. It’d have been better to divide this into three modules with more depth for each topic.

Marketing 101

This is another short module that still offers great content for beginners. Marketing makes or breaks businesses, so it’s unfortunate the actual length of this module.

It starts by explaining how to create your sales funnel for turning your visitors into customers and how to integrate it. Then, it goes into traditional VS digital marketing and how to run your PR strategy.

A good addition there is that she includes a download for you to learn how to make your way into prints: newspapers and magazines.

Finally, you get one video on marketing with expo’s, pop-ups stores, and even some brick-and-mortar stuff.

Content marketing

The third module focuses into leveraging the internet community for some good traffic generation. The first step is to avoid spam and build engagement.

That’s the first video, and the next one focuses on creating the content that makes people want to buy. No, it’s not copying and pasting, so expect to learn a bit on the writing fundamentals. Iyia briefly explain how to create good copy that’s compelling enough to make people want to buy your stuff.

Moving on, she teaches you how to build your following on your social media for maximising the organic following for your posts. You get a video on how to do it, which also includes how to keep people from unfollowing; if they still do, she also explains the possiblre reasons.

The final content covers blogging and the way to turn it into a traffic source for your item pages.

Influencer marketing

Then, you sort of go back to a continuation on module 2. This module may require some adaptations soon if Instagram keeps trimming the likes amount on posts.

This module essentially teaches you how Iyia got Kylie Jenner to post her waist trainer photo, earning millions for the author. She explains how to bargain and pay influencers.

You also get an introduction to different approaches for paid engagements with your influencers. She goes on into how to find them, filtering fakes, and getting the best possible deal using engagement metrics with your prospects.

Note that this type of marketing needs a good budget. You can save up by using smaller Instagram influencers, but getting celebrities is an expensive milestone.

Paid ads

Module 5 seriously needs to get updated. You get a few videos on Facebook video ads and setting up ads in general for the platform. The videos are short, and it made me think the author maybe has a dedicated Facebook Ads team.

There is a long list of things missing from this module. I’ve been to conferences lasting days, and several courses offer hours of content explaining you how to exploit ads on Facebook and Instagram.

However, it skips it and moves to Google Ads and how to set up your own. It basically teaches you to throw your ad and wait for money, and even beginners will need more information to start making real money off their ads.

Yet, it jumps again to the next topic: a few tips on email marketing and getting and exploiting leads.

If you’re wondering what she’s missing in this module, off the top of my head, I can tell you: Snapchat, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest.

Business practices

This module is a chimera on scaling, optimisation, outsourcing, customer service, exiting strategies, tips from the author, etc. Like the first module, it goes on a shallow overview of topics that would deserve modules dedicated to them.

You get videos on optimisation techniques like getting a good theme and using special offers and scarcity.

You finally learn how to sell your venture, but that shouldn’t be your end goal. You need to actually make some money and growing it before you exit it. It should be an idea that comes after you have quite a few investors with you.

Personal Experience With Iyia Liu’s Course

I felt disappointed at this course. Having read about Iyia’s story and exploits, I was excited to learn her tropes. However, that wasn’t quite what I got.

Don’t get me wrong; there’s good content here, and the first module’s content on the accounting and legal side of stuff is something that you won’t find often even in courses with more content.

However, there’s a lot she skips, and that’s sad given how she actually knows her stuff. You can notice that.

Iyia Liu’s Course Scam?

Nope, Iyia Liu’s Course is not a scam however, there are definitely better courses out there you can get like eCom Elites.

Is there a Discount Code?

There is no discount/coupon for Iyia Liu’s Course.

There are other sites claiming they either have Iyia Liu’s Course Coupon or Iyia Liu’s Course Discount but, this is definitely not true. Also, Iyia Liu’s Course Nulled or Iyia Liu’s Course Free is not a thing.

Iyia Liu’s Final Verdict

This is a good course if you’re interested in her insight and have the money to spare. However, you’re not getting much for what you pay, and you may even feel like you’re spending more than it’s worth.

Overall, this isn’t a bad course, but it needs more work before I can say it’s good. If it were cheaper, I’d definitely recommend it.

Nevertheless, as of today, you can get a much better deal by paying the same amount.

I don’t know who’s comment spamming but, I find it highly suspecious that this comment and few other reviews which aren’t so positive have been spamming my comment section.

That’s why the comments are disabled.

I don’t know if this is a way to censor free speech by getting an article to have tons of spam comments so that they are forced to close the comments down further so people don’t post negatives about the course.

Iyia Liu’s Course Alternative

Now I have personally bought a ton of dropshipping courses out there. I even review a lot of them on my blog. Generally, these gurus try to sell you a lifestyle of getting rich and successful that’s why they charge a ridiculous amount for the information they sell.

Their courses typically aren’t even comprehensive at all. They focus all their efforts trying to market their course so, they can make more money from course sales.

I do however think that dropshipping courses are worth it if they are good. They will save you a ton of time and hassle that’s why I highly recommend a solid dropshipping course.

I have been dropshipping for a long time and I have built profitable stores (I currently do affiliate marketing though) and I highly recommend you check out this course called eCom Elites. (I did a review on this, make sure you read it!)

It’s by Franklin Hatchett who has been doing dropshipping WAY before it was famous.

This course definitely has helped me increase my eCommerce income before. However, I don’t do dropshipping anymore because I am focused on affiliate marketing.

Now, this is not another expensive garbage guru course. It’s one of the best & most affordable dropshipping / eCommerce course out there.
