Simplified Shopify Review (Scott Hilse Course)

Hi there! I would like to talk about a new online course called “Simplified Shopify”, made by a 22 years old young boy: a dropshipping entrepreneur and youtuber named Scott Hilse.

Is worth spending the money buying it (although it is a low-range course, only $297) or is just a waste of time and money?

Simplified Shopify Pros & Cons

[pros-cons]

What is Simplified Shopify?

It is a $297 course offering a series of 28 lessons, totally based on videos and focused on a single product store, which, according to Scott Hilse, guarantees us that buying the Simplified Shopify course with no money refunds and following his advice and steps, I will be able to generate thousands of dollars.

The funny fact is that, after he is making a fortune, he wants to give us the secret to be as wealthy as he is, but to be honest, I firmly believe that the only product he wants to sell is the Simplified Shopify course.

The first thing I see, is that there are many screenshots with numbers that show benefits and that invite us to buy this course, but let’s face it, anyone can generate these numbers without a solid base, even, you can simply copy and paste them from anywhere.

That, for the moment, does not tell me anything real, anything solid.

According to it, something catches my attention. It’s that— although he talks about percentages, numbers, and incredible profits (what I think is very important for all those who want to start in the world of business, whether online or a physical store)—he does not explain to me anything about the expenses and costs of building the store itself and advertising it.

This makes me think that it is not being completely transparent and, like many self-proclaimed gurus, he hides some information to me that may be really important.

Make sure you read the entire review to make an informed decision if Simplified Shopify by Scott Hilse is right for you or not!

Who is Simplified Shopify for?

It’s aimed at pretty much whoever wants to pay to learn how to start and establish a dropshipping business that—according to Scott Hilse— will be the job of your dreams.

However, once I started watching the lessons, I quickly realised that the course would go to waste for the people who already knows about the subject; it skips a lot of important information and spends all that extra time explaining basic stuff.

Who is Scott Hilse, The Founder of Simplified Shopify?

He is a 22 years old YouTuber and a Dropshipping entrepreneur from St. Louis, Missouri. In his YouTube channel, he has around 38000 subscribers. Also, he is the creator of Simplified Shopify.

He describes himself as a great reader and gives credit to the books that influenced his business and his way of thinking about them

  • Insanely Simple by Ken Segall.
  • The One Thing by Gary Keller.
  • It is made in America by Walmart’s founder Sam Walton.

What is Included in Simplified Shopify?

Simplified Shopify has as many as 28 lessons for you to write.  While the first lesson talks about how you can earn as much as $1600 from a one product store every day, the lessons progress to discuss other important factors like how to buy a domain name that works for you or how you can set up a Facebook page that converts.

The course also talks about product research, as well as how to test your products.  Other aspects that are discussed include when you should be looking to form a LLC, as well as how to do good at manual bidding or get better at converting to a niche store.

For your marketing, it talks about how you can get Facebook page likes or targeted traffic without having to spend a dime.

As you can see, the course does cover a wide array of different topics. However, most lessons offer little information divided between short videos. For instance, how useful is the content on these subjects? Does it really help you to market yourself better or reach out to a wider audience without breaking your bank?

Unfortunately, that is where the course falls short. It doesn’t talk about a magic formula that can help you get more targeted traffic. What is talks about is SEO, and honestly, you could have figured that out by a simple Google search.

Most of the topics are either stuff you should already know, things you can figure out by pure logic and reasoning, and stuff that’s actually useful but not explained with enough depth.

Personal Experience With Simplified Shopify

My personal experience was not very good with Simplified Shopify because it is too short (some videos are under 5 minutes) and very lack of information for what it offers.

For example, you can easily notice the contradiction when he says that he has only one product in his store, but in fact there are 9 products in his store, and you can check it out by yourself accessing his store by entering in your browser the following URL: everything-summer.myshopify.com.

Then, you will be redirected to quirkyiphonecases.com/

So, here, I can see the iPhone cases that magically make him a wealthy man.

Another quite remarkable contradiction is noted in the title of this video: “$1600 per day template.”

If so, why does the dashboard display just $256 in revenue for the whole day? And if I go deeper, I can see an average of a $450 per day, so where do the $1600 titles come from?

I don’t know Scottie, but I don’t feel comfortable when things don’t add up, and clearly, you are lying to me about the numbers.

It is true that there are good strategies and tactics; it is also true that there is some useful information, but it is also true that I can find them on the internet for free.

It does not offer anything new to whoever purchases the course. Also, something that I do not like is that there is no refund money policy, so what happens if I am not happy with the result of the course? Just wasted my money? Where are my guarantees as a customer?

One of the funniest things I’ve discovered is his secret of getting a lot of “likes” on Facebook for free: Invite all your friends to like your page!

Come on, is this for real?

Scottie, if I purchase your course, I would like to know real secrets, real strategies, and real tactics of how to grow my business, not this kind of nonsense that wastes my time and money.

Simplified Shopify Scam?

Nope, Simplified Shopify is not a scam however, there are definitely better courses out there you can get like eCom Elites.

Is there a Discount Code?

There is no discount/coupon for Scott Hilse’s Simplified Shopify course.

There are other sites claiming they either have Simplified Shopify Coupon or Simplified Shopify Discount but, this is definitely not true. Also, Simplified Shopify Nulled or Simplified Shopify Free is not a thing.

Simplified Shopify Final Verdict

To answer the big question, I was wondering at the beginning of this review: No, I will not be as wealthy as Scottie is by only investing $297 in this course.

I don’t want to sound harsh, but I think he is a guy who got lucky, but that does not mean we will be lucky too. It is like winning the lottery, and that is not a good way to invest your time and your money.

My final verdict is that it is not worth spending the money buying Simplified Shopify. There is a lack of information and support, false data and statistics, and contradictions everywhere.

Scott Hilse offers techniques and strategies that can be found for free on the internet, and clearly, his business strategy starts by selling you his course and not planning or creating an eCommerce dropshipping business.

Also, I was a bit confused in some lessons which do not really help students understand the strategies, tactics, and tips, and beginners won’t get the necessary guidance and support to move forward without looking for extra help outside the course.

So, to be honest, I do not recommend spending money on Simplified Shopify. It is just not worth it.

I’m sorry, but this is a real business, and Scott does not look like a real businessman.

Simplified Shopify Alternative

Now I have personally bought a ton of dropshipping courses out there. I even review a lot of them on my blog. Generally, these gurus try to sell you a lifestyle of getting rich and successful that’s why they charge a ridiculous amount for the information they sell.

Their courses typically aren’t even comprehensive at all. They focus all their efforts trying to market their course so, they can make more money from course sales.

I do however think that dropshipping courses are worth it if they are good. They will save you a ton of time and hassle that’s why I highly recommend a solid dropshipping course.

I have been dropshipping for a long time and I have built profitable stores (I currently do affiliate marketing though) and I highly recommend you check out this course called eCom Elites. (I did a review on this, make sure you read it!)

It’s by Franklin Hatchett who has been doing dropshipping WAY before it was famous.

This course definitely has helped me increase my eCommerce income before. However, I don’t do dropshipping anymore because I am focused on affiliate marketing.

Now, this is not another expensive garbage guru course. It’s one of the best & most affordable dropshipping / eCommerce course out there.
