As the number of opportunities to make money online increases, so does the number of scam websites like The Profit Shortcut. Unfortunately, I’m seeing these websites pop up everywhere recently, trying to trap unsuspecting users into giving their hard-earned money for no reason. More experienced people will know how to identify fake sites and stay away from them.
Sadly, not everyone is aware that this happens, and there are a lot of people who still get scammed into thinking they’re legitimate. And this is the reason why I’ve made it my objective to debunk scam sites, one by one! We need to make more people aware of these illegitimate sites and prevent fewer people from falling for them. If fewer people fall for their trick, they will run out of business in no time. Thus, let us get started with today’s review of The Profit Shortcut. We’ll explore what it is and identify the red flags that make it a scam site.
How Does The Profit Shortcut work?
Upon entering the sales page for The Profit Shortcut, you’re faced with a promotional video with a bunch of people claiming that it helped them achieve their financial goals. If it is your first time coming across a fake site, you probably will fall for everything in that video. After all, seeing so many good reviews often lead people to purchase things without a second thought. But for someone who’s seen countless similar videos, I immediately identified it as a fake site even before playing the video.
Going through the video, NO ONE talks about how the site can help you make money. Instead, everyone keeps spewing bold claims like being able to work from home in your PJs or at the beach. First of all, working on the beach sounds like a recipe for disaster. And while the work from home scenario is real for most online jobs, The Profit Shortcut still doesn’t explain how they’re helping you make this money. Moreover, going through the whole video, I realized the script sounds familiar. They’re using the same script as most scam sites! Specifically, the one from Russell Brunson’s training videos.
The Profit Shortcut
After wrecking my brain and digging for an answer, I realized that The Profit Shortcut is just a promotional platform for the Super Affiliate Network. The Super Affiliate Network is a pay to play business opportunity. How does it work? Upon paying to join the network, you will receive internet marketing training. After the training, you become an affiliate, and your job is to resell it to prospective clients, and the whole process repeats. I know what you’re thinking, it sounds like a pyramid scheme, doesn’t it? It’s not, and it is indeed a legitimate form of money-making. However, I think this kind of business model is a high risk, so I tend to stay away from it. People usually end up losing a lot of money buying products and being stuck looking for prospects. And if you think about it, you need to find at least two people to make a profit. I guess this is why most of these pay to play businesses shut down after a while.
Is The Profit Shortcut a scam?
My initial impression of The Profit Shortcut was that its another internet scam. It has all the classic signs of a scam, from the single page sales page to the fake testimonials. Upon closer inspection, I even found that the people in the sales video are indeed hired actors from freelance websites like fiverr.com. There is also no prominent mention that the site is used to promote the Super Affiliate Network. I only found out about that after digging through fake testimonials and exaggerated claims.
Super Affiliate Network
However, upon finding out that it is promoting the Super Affiliate Network, it made me change my mind. Don’t get me wrong, and I’m not saying you should sign up to The Super Affiliate Network immediately, I’m just saying it’s a legitimate type of business. Nevertheless, my experience with pay to play businesses like these are mostly negative. Although I do not have direct experience with such platforms, I have friends who have been stuck in it for ages. It’s also unfortunate because most of these friends of mine were already down on their luck when they encountered the business. Rather than changing their life around, they instead lost more than they initially had.
Is The Profit Shortcut a scam? Unfortunately, my answer to this isn’t as simple as yes or no. After finding out that The Profit Shortcut is just a promotional page for the pay to play platform Super Affiliate Network, in technical terms, it is not a scam. However, the claims that The Profit Shortcut keeps promoting isn’t entirely true. Yes, the Super Affiliate Network is a legitimate business, but does it work? If it works and people can earn money from it, then why do most of these businesses shut down after a while? Why do most people who venture into the business end up losing more than they started with? Although it’s a legitimate business, it’s a high risk, and the possibility of getting a return of profits is low. So, in the end, whatever The Profit Shortcut claims you will achieve is very far away. Therefore in technical terms, I don’t think The Profit Shortcut is a scam. Is it a good business to venture? No, it’s full of high risk and low returns.
Now, if you think about the claims that The Profit Shortcut keeps making – promoting a work from home lifestyle and passive income, are they possible with the Super Affiliate Network business model? They also do not mention how you need to invest a certain amount at the beginning to receive training. After that, you’re supposed to head out and look for another prospect whom you will give the same training, and he will have to do the same after that. Does this sound like a work from home lifestyle to you? No.
The Profit Shortcut Alternative
Now, I have personally tried many businesses online and honestly, a lot of the businesses just suck for a complete beginner. This is because either they are blatant scams or they require a ton of experience and money.
Guys I have literally reviewed over 150+ courses on my blog which claim to make you millions of dollars overnight or just contain poor information for a large fee.
Believe it or not, there are actually good programs out there which have value-packed information, are super affordable and transparent.
If you want an honest long term sustainable online business which can make you earn a full-time income at home without any bosses you can check out Savage Affiliates Program. (This does require work on your part, it’s not a get rich quick scheme. You can read my review on it here!)
