Well, if you want a quick answer, I’ll tell you that squeeze pages help you get more customers.

ClickFunnels is one of the most popular solutions for—you guessed it—building sales funnels and squeeze pages. It currently serves hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs around different industries and countries.

Naturally, it’s my first pick because most of you probably saw it coming. Its fame is well deserved thanks to the amount of features and tools it packs into a single package. Many of its users build their entire businesses with it.

It’s also my first pick because of how much you can do with it. You can create all types of funnels and pages, process payments, host webinars, and even create membership websites. You’re also free to create affiliate programs for your products if you desire to shed some of the stress of marketing your business.

Naturally, it’s filled with templates for your squeeze pages, and you’re free to edit them without any coding knowledge thanks to a drag-and-drop editor.

What I like

It’s an all-in-one marketing tool that you can use for almost your entire marketing approach, and it comes with plenty of features like split-testing and software integrations to optimize your efforts.

It’s also a very straightforward platform, and the amount of features it brings to the table doesn’t make it more complex thanks to the simple user interface and editor.

What I don’t like

It’s definitely a premium solution, so it’s a considerable investment. That’s especially frustrating when you consider that the standard plan limits the amount of pages you can create, and the split-testing feature is quite basic when compared with its competitors.


ClickFunnels comes in 2 packages: the standard plan and the premium Etison suite. They’ll set you back $97 and $297 monthly, respectively, and the premium version comes with support for more pages and a few more features like email automation.

There’s also a free trial available for 14 days.


Our next entry is a page builder for WordPress, and it’s a popular plugin thanks to how you can use it for building your entire website without too much effort. Elementor supports as many pages as you need as well, so it’s a cost-efficient solution.

Of course, its page building software works just as good for building squeeze pages as it does for any other page you need. It’s also a drag-and-drop editor, so you don’t need any advanced design or coding knowledge.

If you already have a WordPress website, just need to buy and install the plugin.

What I like

The price is quite good, especially considering you can build unlimited pages. It’s also the only entry in this list with a free version.

It also offers solid SEO thanks to the optimized editor, and since you’re using it for a WordPress site, you have full control and ownership over all pages.

What I don’t like

It’s not as straightforward as the other entries in this list, specially since the templates aren’t as good as its competitors. It’s also just a page builder, and you’ll need more plugins if you want more features.


Besides the free plan, Elementor starts off at $49 for a single site license. It’s a single payment, too.

However, if you don’t have a WordPress site already, keep in mind you’ll also need to pay for hosting and domain as well as other plugins.


Instapage is pretty much a synonymous for “landing page”, and it’s one of the pioneers for this marketing approach. It’s a specialized software just for landing pages, and it’s particularly good for a PPC marketing approach.

The builder comes with specialized features for different ad types and platforms. What’s even better is that your pages align with any campaign automatically thanks to its DTR (dynamic text replacement) technology.

Since it’s a landing page solution, you can use it for landing pages. It also comes with hundreds of templates.

What I like

If you want the best solution for landing pages, then Instapage is as advanced as it gets. It has around 200 templates and amazing features. All pages are fully mobile responsive as well, with AMP functionality.

What I don’t like

It’s another premium platform, so it’s quite pricey. Furthermore, several features are restricted to the higher account tiers. Its specialization also means you’ll have to integrate it for more functionality, and it’s not the most beginner-friendly option.


Instapage’s cheapest plan is $99 monthly. Advanced plans come with all previous features plus additional functionality.


Leadpages is another platform that many consider as the grandfather of all landing page builders today. As the name suggests, Leadpages focuses on collecting leads, so it’s a perfect solution for squeeze pages.

It’s easy to spot how Leadpages inspired many of its modern competitors like Leadpages. Many of its features feel like prototypes and older versions of what current platforms offer, but it’s still a worthwhile tool for building squeeze pages and building your leads.

What I like

If you only want to collect leads, then Leadpages can save you quite a bit of money. It comes with over 100 page templates, and it has interesting native features for boosting your lead generation attempts plus an ad builder for Facebook.

It has built a strong reputation thanks to how long it’s been around as well.

What I don’t like

It definitely shows its age; the user interface isn’t as intuitive and doesn’t look as modern as its current competitors. Therefore, it can be quite confusing for newcomers. It’s also noticeably limited in terms of customization features, and split-testing isn’t available if you go for the cheapest plans.


Leadpages is among the most affordable options in this list, so it’s a perfect solution if you’re on a budget, only need to build squeeze pages, and you’re fine with the clunky UI. The cheapest subscription is $25 monthly, and more advanced accounts aren’t too expensive, either.


GetResponse is best-known as an email marketing solution with plenty of automation features. However, it has grown a lot since its release, and today, it includes plenty of features and tools that make it a lot more than just an email service.

Not only does it offer more than email automation, but it actually does more than building squeeze pages, too. You can build and automate sales funnels, build pages, and even host entire webinars.

What I like

It’s a huge tool, as simple as that. I’d compare it with ClickFunnels and even Kartra, although I wouldn’t say it’s better than them. However, it’s easily the most versatile entry, and it saves you quite a bit of money because of how many features it has.

The best part is that it’s also the cheapest recommendation in the entire article.

What I don’t like

You’ll have to upgrade depending on how many leads you want to handle, and its page-building features aren’t as advanced as its email marketing functionality.


GetResponse’s basic plan is just $15, and you can upgrade your account as your business grows and you need more leads and a few additional features. Like most solutions in this list, there’s also a free trial available.


Unbounce is quite similar to Instapage and Leadpages in that it focuses solely on building landing pages, with plenty of advanced features for most marketing approaches including landing pages.

Unbounce is also a great option for conversion-focused platforms. What’s even more surprising is that Unbounce is actually older than Leadpages; people always list Leadpages as the first platform, as I mentioned.

That’s quite an achievement if you ask me, as Unbounce’s features make it look like a contemporary for some of the most modern platforms. However, it helped set the standard for what landing page builders should offer.

What I like

It offers advanced features like DTR for paid ads and conversion optimization for all your landing pages. It comes with over a hundred page templates, all of the same quality, and it’s still one of the most sophisticated options in this list.

What I don’t like

It can be more complex than most recommendations in the list, and when coupled with its price tag, it’s not the best option for beginners. It also lacks some features available in other platforms here.


The cheapest price for Unbounce is $79 monthly, and it also comes with a free trial with all features.


Kartra is the youngest platform—and last—platform in the article, but that doesn’t mean it’s not as good as its competitors. In fact, it’s one of the most complete packages available, and some say it’s even better than ClickFunnels and GetResponse.

It comes with marketing automation, page building, email marketing, video hosting, and even support for building and hosting entire membership sites. You can use Kartra from your squeeze pages to the entire marketing strategy for your business.

What I like

It simply does everything, and even its email automation is quite advanced. You get plenty of templates and strong customer support to make it easier to use as well. It also offers a lot more functionality than similarly-priced platforms, especially since you get all features from the basic plan.

What I don’t like

The price can still be a high entry bar for smaller businesses, and it can be overwhelming at first. It’s also more expensive depending on your business size.


Kartra starts at $99 for the Starter plan. However, the only difference between plans is how many products, leads, emails, and bandwidth you can use. Therefore, you only need to upgrade when you break your current plan’s size.


As you can see, all of the platforms have their own strengths and weaknesses. Your choice will largely depend on how much you’re willing to spend, what features you need, and your own experience.

If you already have a WordPress site, then Elementor is quite cost-efficient. If you want the most advanced platform for the cheapest price, GetResponse it is. If you want to save money on several different apps, go for Kartra—and so on.
