This online course is basically aimed at newbies in e-commerce or dropshipping. If you are having trouble setting up your Shopify store or you already have a store, but are not getting the profits you desired; then this course may be helpful. They claim to teach you the fundamentals and tricks of the trade; and also share their own secret of how they became so successful. They claim to help you out at every single step needed to create and grow a profitable Shopify e-commerce business.

Who is Laz Chavez & Richard Telf, The Founders of ECom Profit Masterclass?

Laz Chavez and Richard Telf describe themselves as e-commerce experts who love travelling. Both of them completed their degree in mechanical engineering, then deciding that the job was not for them. Their first love was e-commerce, and that’s what they both did! They learned e-commerce through masterminds and invested a lot of time in networking and talking to experts.

They supposedly have already made $2,000,000 in a month through sales by starting 2twomulti-million dollar businesses over the past three years. They have also mentored and provided coaching to more than a hundred students in a short span of just a year. Richard Telf is seen on YouTube giving tutorials and lessons on e-commerce like “how to make $1 million on Google Ads” and ‘Dropshipping 101”. Richard Telf and Laz Chavez, both have more than 6000 followers on their individual Instagram accounts.

What is Included in ECom Profit Masterclass?

As I said earlier, the whole course is divided into 25 videos oover6 weeks. Every week covers a different topic, going from easy to difficult, and known to unknown. Let’s take a detailed look at the entire program.

Week 1  Shopify Setup

This week focuses on setting up your store. The program starts with a nice welcome video introducing you to the concept of dropshipping and instructing you to focus on every video minutely, and in detail. This is then followed up by 7 videos which teach you how to go about setting up your Shopify store. Each video talks about different topics like how to set and up your legal pages, how to acquire a domain, create your own logo, and customize your theme without any help from a designer. The important thing to note here is that there is no mention of researching on a niche or deciding which products to sell which, according to me, should have been dealt with first!

This complete module is targeted for beginners, so if you already have a fair knowledge of setting up a store, you can skip through all these 7 videos.

Week 2  Zero – Risk Products

This module is named as ‘zero-risk products’ iontheir website. It consists of 4 videos in all. This week focuses on how to find and search for winning products. The video teaches you how you can offer products to customers without actually keeping an inventory and directly accessing it from suppliers like Aliexpress. There are also lessons on the diting of product titles, adding your own descriptions to the products, and adding images to the products.

The videos are all very simple and straightforward, but I found the module too basic for my liking. Also, they have used a free and popular app called Oberlo, for teaching adding of products into your store.

Week 3  Apps and Order Fulfillment

This week is all about finding additional apps which will boost the sales of your store. They recommend an app named ‘Abandonment cart protector’, which is a very good app to have. This is an app that automatically sends email to your customer who left abruptly without completing the check out process. They also talk about other apps like Carts Guru, Hurrify, Order lookup, and Conversio.

Spoiler- All these apps are already given by others, mostly in their premium packs, free of cost!!

Week 4  Google Setup

This week, they teach you stepwise, how to set up your Google Adwords and Merchant Centre account. This is again, a very narrow module and not much to write about in this. It consists of just 3 videos which are pretty short and basic. Personally speaking, they didn’t need a whole week for just this information.

Week 5  Google Ads Setup and Optimization

The first module talks about setting up your account. Next, you learn how to setup conversion tracking. This is actually a very simple process, but a whole module has been dedicated to it. Strange! Then, in the next module they talk about how to find winners through Facebook and Google. There is also a module touching on the topic of setting up your Google Shopping Campaign. One point to be noted here is that this course does not talk anything about Facebook Ads or Instagram ads.

Week 6  Search and International Expansion

This week the emphasis is on Google search and leveraging shopping data. They also talk about global expansion and snaring international customers. It’s an interesting module wherein they teach you how to expand in other countries like Australia, UK, and France.

The course also offers a bonus worth (supposedly) $4000. It includes –

• Access to their mastermind Facebook group
• Live coaching once a week
• 0-$780 case study

Personal Experience With ECom Profit Masterclass

The course is definitely not a scam. It’s authentic and simple for beginners in Shopify e-commerce business, but it does come with its set of flaws. The course talks basically only about how Google Ads can be used for dropshipping. Google Ads, no doubt, has a very important role to play in dropshipping, but one can’t completely negate the roles of Facebook, Instagram, and SEO in the complete e-commerce business. In a course like this, where one is training you on making your Shopify store successful, one cannot just overlook the importance of these too. You may emphasize the importance of one over the other, but not including them at all, is a crime!

Also, the bonuses which they offer don’t excite me at all. Live chat once a week is hardly any interaction, considering that it’s a teaching program, and student-teacher interaction is a must! There should have been more such interactions.

The ready-to-sell themes which they are claiming to be worth $997 can be purchased for very less and are in fact, included for free, by other competitors in their premium packages.

Nope, ECom Profit Masterclass is not a scam however, there are definitely better courses out there you can get like eCom Elites.

There are other sites claiming they either have ECom Profit Masterclass Coupon or ECom Profit Masterclass Discount but, this is definitely not true. Also, ECom Profit Masterclass Nulled or ECom Profit Masterclass Free is not a thing.

Ecom Profit Masterclass Final Verdict

Sure, the Ecom Profit Masterclass is better than some of the other dropshipping programs. However, in my opinion, the course definitely is not worth $1497. Mostly, it is about Google Ads, and Google Shipping and nowhere does it touch on the topics of Facebook Ads, Sales Funnels, and Email marketing.

If you need to run a successful store, you can’t miss out on them. The course doesn’t go in too much depth on any topic. The course content is just about average and affordability poor — all in all, a no-go from my side.
