You’ve probably seen an amusing video from an Indian rapper Moonis Ali and decided to look up what it was about. The video is an advertisement for his online course: eCom X University.
What is eCom X University?
eCom X University is a custom course developed by Moonis Ali. He claims to have discovered a dropshipping strategy that enables him to earn thousands of dollars each day. Moonis now wants to share the secret with dropshipping aspirants.
The course helps you start your dropshipping business on Shopify and find the right products to sell for more profit.
He charges 7,999 rupees for it; for internationality purposes, that’s around $115 USD. That’s actually a very cheap price considering other courses available.

The course promises you that it’ll help you find the product that will never fail you.
The course is aimed at dropshippers who want to find products with high selling potential. It teaches you how to discover high-margin products that can earn you more profit.
Nevertheless, that’s quite outrageous; why would he reveal such a huge secret to anyone –let alone for less than a couple hundred?
That’s enough to turn him into a millionaire, so this is definitely a red flag.
Who is Moonis Ali, The Founder of eCom X University?
Rap isn’t the first thing on Moonis’ head; he actually decided to become the best dropshipper a while ago, selling millions all around the globe.
The first exposition he had to the model was from a class given by Gaurav Madaan, who’s a well-known marketer from India.
After hearing that calling, Moonis decided to put almost all his funds into his venture. He says it was the right choice, and he then hit jackpot, winning millions through his online store.
You can see revenue images from his Shopify website, showing $144,000 on his best month, which is fairly surprising. However, do note that you’re not seeing what he spent on advertising to get his products known to others, and that’s a considerable expense.
Admittedly, he does tell you that you need to have enough funds for investing into your store before you see any success. He even states that you should find a job to help you fund your business, which is a great advice most gurus skip.
Make sure you listen to him in that sense. You can always set aside some free time to work on your business.
What is Included in eCom X University?
You’ll learn how to target your audience using Facebook, but the content you get here lacks depth and critical insight. You want to find much more content if your aim is a Facebook-focused course, so this isn’t a selling point at all.
You do learn how to retrieve your account if your Facebook Ads one gets shut down, so that’s a nice addition. You also see how to start your Shopify store, so it’s another good point for complete beginners.
Then, he goes into which countries are the best marketing targets, and you get the regulars among the US and UK. You can also learn about scaling your store once you reach a considerable number of sales each day.

The course misses a few things. There’s nothing on Instagram, YouTube, Google Ads, and email marketing. That’s a huge deal, but it’s something you can expect given the price of the course.
Luckily, you do get basic knowledge on starting dropshipping, getting products, and running your Facebook ads; he then goes a bit into scaling your business after hitting your winning product.
I’ll give him credit in that it’s a good course if you’re looking for nothing else but that, and the price makes it worth at least a try.
eCom X University Scam?
Nope, eCom X University is not a scam however, there are definitely better courses out there you can get like eCom Elites.
Is there a Discount Code?
There is no discount/coupon for Moonis Ali’s eCom X University course.
There are other sites claiming they either have eCom X University Coupon or eCom X University Discount but, this is definitely not true. Also, eCom X University Nulled or eCom X University Free is not a thing.
Ecom X University Final Verdict
Not a bad course to be honest.
However, add just $82 to that price, and you get 100x more content than you’d receive from Moonis. I’m talking about eCom Elites.
Besides everything covered by Moonis being expanded 10x, you also learn about Google Shopping, chatbots, remarketing, sales funnels, and a lot more.
eCom X University Alternative
Now I have personally bought a ton of dropshipping courses out there. I even review a lot of them on my blog. Generally, these gurus try to sell you a lifestyle of getting rich and successful that’s why they charge a ridiculous amount for the information they sell.
Their courses typically aren’t even comprehensive at all. They focus all their efforts trying to market their course so, they can make more money from course sales.
I do however think that dropshipping courses are worth it if they are good. They will save you a ton of time and hassle that’s why I highly recommend a solid dropshipping course.
I have been dropshipping for a long time and I have built profitable stores (I currently do affiliate marketing though) and I highly recommend you check out this course called eCom Elites. (I did a review on this, make sure you read it!)
It’s by Franklin Hatchett who has been doing dropshipping WAY before it was famous.
This course definitely has helped me increase my eCommerce income before. However, I don’t do dropshipping anymore because I am focused on affiliate marketing.
Now, this is not another expensive garbage guru course. It’s one of the best & most affordable dropshipping / eCommerce course out there.
