The course is presented in the form of video lessons, which makes it easy to watch and digest.
The topics themselves are fairly well-explained, so anyone can understand each class and apply what they’ve learned from it.
There are lessons dedicated to teaching you how to improve your customer experience, which is always a nice addition.
The course focuses a lot on content marketing, which is a rare sight among other eCommerce and dropshipping courses available today.
None of the topics gets too complex or in-depth, so beginners will find it hard to not understand the course.
The last few modules provide excellent advice and content that’s rare to find in courses nowadays and can be useful even for the more experienced.
Short In Reality
The course may look long at first, but it’s actually fairly short, and most videos are very shallow, so the content itself is not as extensive as it should be.
No student groups
There are zero bonuses available: no case studies, mentoring, student groups, nothing.
A lot of the information provided can be either found for free online or learned through mere reasoning.
A lot of the strategies and tips are outdated, so don’t expect everything in the course to work on current market conditions.

The course also focuses a lot of its content in content marketing, which is the foundation for pretty much all of the marketing recommended by Zach. There’s little information on marketing otherwise, but it does offer a bit of content related to paid traffic, which again turns against the “norm” among modern dropshipping courses.
The main focus for this course goes from website design to audience and keyword research for content creation and the monetisation of said content through sales.
The modules start with a brief introduction before taking you into planning and building your business. It then goes on to getting products and growing your business.

Who is eCommerce Mastery for?
This course can be a bit confusing when it comes to who its target audience is, and it’s because the content itself has a violent curve regarding the difference in difficulty between the last few modules and the rest of the course (what comes before).
The first courses are excellent content for a beginner: they’re basic stuff about building your store and adding the products. It’s worth mentioning again that this course uses WordPress instead of Shopify, so those who are used to the latter may find it a bit awkward at first, but it shouldn’t last long.
The curve occurs during the second-to-last module, where the strategies are good but require a lot of time to set them up and money to pay for the content. The paid traffic section can also prove a bit challenging for those on a restricted budget.
Who is Zach Inman, The Founder of eCommerce Mastery?
He’s a YouTube creator who focuses on eCommerce, claiming to offer a look into the business that goes straight to the point.
His objective is to make his content as easy to understand and enjoy as possible, which he claims can then extend to starting your own eCommerce store and making it a fun process.
There’s nothing wrong with making your content more enjoyable, but to anyone reading this: don’t take it literally. Starting a venture like this one is certainly rewarding when done right, but to say it’s easy is just a lie; you need to place a lot of time and effort into turning it into a successful business.
He has about 35,000 subscribers on his channel and videos regarding strategies and tips for dropshipping, but he seems to violently pause (or at least diminish) his dedication to youtube, with a recent average of less than a video per month.
What is Included in eCommerce Mastery?

It’s just a standard intro: what’s in store for you.
It includes an overview from Zach regarding his eCommerce experience, but it’s to be taken with a grain of salt, for there isn’t solid proof of what he claims.
As you can see, it’s just a standard welcome to the course to get you in the mood for the rest of it.
2. Planning The Business.
This module covers figuring out what your business it’s going to be.
Among what you learn, we have how to find a good niche for you, determining your target audience, and building the identity and branding of your store.
The idea is to have a solid idea of how your business is going to look and function.
3. Setting Up Your Store & Blog.
Here’s where you get to work.
You’ll learn how to build a store with WordPress as your platform, which is a slightly cheaper option than Shopify, but it lacks a lot of the functionality offered by the latter.
It’s weird, to say the least, and Zach has a list of plugins to offset the weaknesses of WordPress, which are pretty much stuff WordPress already recommends.
The issue with this module is that it skips a lot of content that’s necessary to make WordPress work close to Shopify (or even functional).
4. Product Sourcing And Sales.
It teaches you how to research your products, kind of a continuation of the second module.
However, it stresses that some products are better for the content marketing strategies Zach suggest, and it includes a video on how to create the content to advertise the products.
5. Optimizing Your Website.
This teaches you exactly what the title says, including how to make it more intuitive to navigate and other SEO recommendations.
The issue with this module is that it shows you how difficult it is to work with WordPress for dropshipping; there’s way too much work required to make it functional, especially when compared with Shopify.
6. Growing And Using Social Media.
It’s mostly just a show of how Zach markets his brand through Facebook and Instagram, and you probably already know most of this.
In general, it’s a fairly outdated module since paid traffic overshadows regular advertising today.
7. Paid Traffic.
It’s yet another basic module, this time on methods like marketing ads on social media. It outlines their setup and optimisation.
It becomes obvious that Zach doesn’t really care about this because he covers it briefly and on the surface before moving to the most important topic for him.
8. Blog Posts Done Right.
Overall, it’s an explanation of how a good post should look. It includes keyword research, some optimisation, and the type of posts you should aim for.
While it’s good to see this strategy being recommended (which most courses today miss), there’s little here that can’t be found online.
9. Email Marketing.
Few lessons make up this section about building your email list and using Sales Funnel for regular communication.
This is one of the best modules in terms of the strategies it suggests, but it sadly falls too short. You are taught what’s a Sales Funnel but are mostly left to your own devices when learning actually to use them.
10. Scaling Your Business.
The module suggests outsourcing your writing to hired writers so you can automate the process.
The videos are insightful and provide good content overall regarding online marketplaces and platforms like Upwork.
There’s a “but”, though: being successful with these strategies requires a lot of time to set it up and some trial and error. The issue is that the said time and trial-and-error translates into money being lost, and you can’t really afford that if you’re the majority of the people who will take this course.
11. Keeping Your Business Solid.
This module is actually good. I have no complaints.
It shows you several videos on customer service, how to deal with problems, how to maintain your business, and providing a good experience for your customers: an overall good section I was glad to see.
Personal Experience With eCommerce Mastery
Besides the last section and some tips here and there, the course was mostly just stuff I already figured out on my own.
It was disappointing to see how little content it actually offers, especially after seeing the names and number of modules and videos.
Even more disappointing, though, was the noticeable lack of content on the topics I actually cared about, as I already mentioned.
Overall, you might feel like you’ve wasted most of your money here if you are already experienced.

Nope, eCommerce Mastery is not a scam however, there are definitely better courses out there you can get like eCom Elites.
Is there a Discount Code?
There is no discount/coupon for Zach Inman’s eCommerce Mastery course.
There are other sites claiming they either have eCommerce Mastery Coupon or eCommerce Mastery Discount but, this is definitely not true. Also, eCommerce Mastery Nulled or eCommerce Mastery Free is not a thing.
eCommerce Mastery Final Verdict
The course offers an approach that’s mostly ignored by other similar courses, and it’s good in that sense because the content marketing strategy is actually good and heavily undervalued.
The price is not bad, but a bit more content would be better for it actually to be worth it. Complete beginners may see a better price-to-quality ratio, but it’s still missing a lot.
Also, WordPress is just a weird choice. It would be much better to apply this knowledge to a Shopify store, but it is what it is.eCommerce Mastery Alternative

It’s by Franklin Hatchett, who is one of the first people to actually get drop shipping popular, he makes 7 figures online from various businesses, not just e-commerce. Franklin constantly updates his courses so, they aren’t out of date.
I have been dropshipping for a long time and I have built profitable stores (I currently do affiliate marketing though) and this course is for someone whos a complete beginner all the way UP to Advanced dropshippers like me, it has definitely helped me increase my eCommerce income before.
