Zero to One Thousand is a course launched by a 16-years old YouTuber called Tanner Planes. He is the one who flaunts his wealth on his video, and you’ve probably seen one of his ads where he is with his supercars on YouTube. But does the course deliver?

Before purchasing the course, you need to know everything about it, so that’s why we are reviewing Zero to One Thousand for you today. Is it a hit or a miss? Let’s find it out together.

Who is Tanner Planes, The Founder of Zero to One Thousand?

Tanner Planes is a 16-years old famous YouTuber teenager who started making videos in 2017 and immediately got famous after he started using misleading or clickbait titles and thumbnails. His YouTube channel has become an outlet to flaunt his newly gained wealth as he spends time lounging around in Miami driving his rented Maserati. Currently, he posts a lot of dropshipping content and has continued to receive a large number of views. Every video has multiple dropshipping links, which has made it possible for him to continue with his expensive lifestyle.

One would say that he is too young to teach people because he only a few years of experience. But I won’t be using any of these points to judge his course. Young or not, he is putting himself out there and making more money than most of us.

Tanner Planes never clearly mentioned the target group but it is obvious it is for students and growing YouTube channels who want to make quick bucks. Social media influencers from other platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat can also benefit from the course.

What is included in Zero To One Thousand?

As of May 2019, the Zero to One Thousand course costs $376 and is divided into four sections, including:

• Introduction
• Zero to 1K Plan
• 4 Main Apps to Use
• Bonus Videos (live training)

Most of the course contains videos that are recorded using a mobile phone. The quality of the videos isn’t the best and appears to be shot hurriedly. It doesn’t make sense why Tanner would price it at $376, when he didn’t put worthy efforts into it. If you think, isn’t it kind of surprising (real shocking) that he couldn’t afford a professional DSLR camera to record the videos.

Here’s what each section teaches you about:

1. Introduction

In the Introduction section, Tanner gives you basic information about dropshipping and how you can use Shopify to your advantage. Honestly, you can find this information on Wikipedia. You don’t even need to have good research skills.

2. Zero to 1K Plan

The Zero to 1K Plan section talks about Golden Products and how to find them. According to Tanner Planes, there are the winning products and those that will add $1,000 to your account. He sources these products from AliExpress and urges this ‘students’ to do the same.

There are multiple videos in this section with the first one teaching you how to import products from AliExpress into your store and write catchy product descriptions to sell them. In the next two videos, he teaches how to build an attractive and compelling store, which is SEO optimized and aesthetically pleasing. As the videos continue, a step-by-step tutorial appears on its side. When we checked the video, it had nothing surprising but the typical tutorial you will find on Shopify.

You can also find them on YouTube for FREE and they are more detailed and precise than Tanner’s content. After that, he recommends the learners to use a free theme by Shopify called Debute. It has a lot of limitations, obviously because it is available for free, and isn’t optimized for conversions. The eCom Turbo theme is a better option for all dropshipping beginners.

The rest of the videos talk about how to set up a business Instagram account, make it aesthetic, and how to contact Instagram influencers. In the last video, you get a basic overview of all the previous videos and how to start making sales.

3. 4 Main Apps to Use

This is where the quality suffers badly as Tanner introduces four Shopify apps to use. All these are famous apps that you would have heard about earlier and there’s ample information online about them. Here are four apps:

• Privy
• Sales Pop
• Oberlo
• Consistent Cart

If you haven’t heard about these apps, don’t worry you aren’t missing out on anything. Just Google them and you will become an expert in them.

4. Bonus Videos (live training)

This is the videos we were talking about earlier. Tanner assured that he will keep adding videos regularly to this section as he keeps learning new things. To be honest, these are the only videos that have some value to them. Currently, some of the topics under this section include product research webinar, Facebook retargeting, and different ways to overcome Oberlo processing errors.

At the end of the course, you get access to Tanner’s closed Facebook group where you can talk with other students and discuss the latest trends. When we joined the group, there wasn’t a lot of going on, so becoming a member doesn’t really make a difference. There will be a message here and there by Tanner but it is majorly inactive.

Personal Experience With Zero To One Thousand

You would have already understood what our personal experience with Zero To One Thousand is. However, I still want to mention it one more time. I would give the online course 2 stars out of 5 but that’s only because the efforts Tanner Planes took.

I don’t appreciate how hurriedly he shot the videos. They are shaky and pixelated, which just makes it less worthy. All the content available in the course is available for free on the internet, so paying $397 doesn’t make any sense to us at all. There are so many other courses available at half the price and offer valuable knowledge that you won’t find for free.

Nope, Zero To One Thousand is not a scam however, there are definitely better courses out there you can get like eCom Elites.

Is there a Discount Code?

There is no discount/coupon for Paul Joseph’s Zero To One Thousand course.

There are other sites claiming they either have Zero To One Thousand Coupon or Zero To One Thousand Discount but, this is definitely not true. Also, Zero To One Thousand Nulled or Zero To One Thousand Free is not a thing.

Zero To One Thousand Final Verdict

We all know by now that Zero to One Thousand claims to help you earn $1,000 in just seven days. Once you start earning, you will earn $600 to $1,000 every day. It all sounds attractive but I also need to take a moment to understand that Tanner doesn’t account for the expenses you need to put in to make the revenue.

On his YouTube channel, the 16-years old makes absurd claims that sound too good to be true. As an adult, these things won’t impress but rather annoy you. Most of his videos are immature and support his lavish lifestyle. It seems like Tanner is only earning through course sales and the Shopify Trial Affiliate program, which he uses to place links in his videos. I honestly don’t think he would be earning anything through dropshipping because his course content is very basic and there are no secret tips to success.

If you want to make a business out of dropshipping, there are many other courses that you can purchase. I don’t recommend you to purchase the course because it just isn’t worth it.
